Using Frontpage

Q1)
1. It's important to establish the goal of the site first. Sketch a site structure. For example :

Q2) A Web server is a computer that runs special serving software. That software "serves" HTML pages and associated files when requested by a client, such as a Web browser.

Q4) To put your site on a Web server, you publish it. Publishing generally means copying all of the files to a remote location on a server.

Disk-based site is a FrontPage Web site you create on your local hard disk and then later publish to a Web server.

How did the internet originate!

Q1)   It originated from the military bases. In case there were any bombs they wanted to secure all their data and so they created the ARPANET to connect to other computers.
Q2)   The military, ARPANET to secure data in case any bombing happened.
Q3) Internet protocol it is comprised of 4 sets of numbers which are unique IP addresses for each computer. IP packet of data it has an address which is unique it has the address of the recipient
Q4) Transmission Control Protocol, TCP will count them and say its missing a packet it requests the packet to be retransmitted again.
Q5)  Because it keeps everything shorter. Computers work on number which letters represent.Domain named service changes letters to numbers.

Q2) Constraints and considerations

·         The files had to be smaller to download quicker
·         Create a good user experience (quick download)
·         JPEG images WMP video clips (files)
·         Limit the resolution of the images
·         Limit the pictures on the websites
·         Qr reader had to be free
·         Google sites was free
Q3) My role:
·         I did the 2 websites, one from Mercy to Mercy and the other from Mercy to BM building.
·         I made the QR codes for my website.
Q4) Problems and solutions:
·         We did it at home because the internet was slow and we had access from google dox to work on it at home.
·         QR reader onto people’s phone’s (we had instructions showing them how to download the app on the poster.)
·         Photo files (had to organise from certain place to destinations so that it was easier to put them on the website it saved time because that was one of the limitations/constraints.)
·         Google dox( knowing the status of each website was the problem)
·         We had to share the website to get teachers edit permission to check the web)
