It is the address of a website.

It is a set of 4 numbers that identifies the URL address. It is numbers to represent letters.Each computer has a unique IP address.

3.    Given our school website's URL is http://www.mcauley.nsw.edu.au, what is our domain name and what protocol do you need to use to access the site?

http://webserver.mcauley.nsw.edu.au:81/ , The protocol is HTTP.

4.    In the context of an IP address, what is an octet?

An octet is a unit of digital information in computing and telecommunications that consists of eight bits. The term is often used when the term byte might be ambiguous, as historically there was no standard definition for the size of the byte.
